From Milliken Iris Gardens catalog, 1940: MABEL TAFT (Wareham) One of "the world's largest irises, having enormous blooms on tall powerful stems and large luxuriant foliage. The flowers are violet-blue with sheen of velvet on the falls. 3ft. 35c; 3 for 75c. |
