'Nefertiti' ( Joseph Gatty, R. 1978). Seedling #G77-1. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards light peach-pink (M&P 1-A-8) to pinkish cream (9-B-2) at edges; falls orchid (43-D-7) aging to 43-B-2; white beard, tangerine-orange in throat. 'Louise Watts' X 'Loudoun Charmer'. Keppel 1981.

| From Keith Keppel Iris catalog, 1981: NEFERTITI (Gatty '81) M 34" (Louise Watts X Loudoun Charmer. The beautiful one cometh. Pastel floral regality, with soft creamy pink standards infused orchid when fresh. Soft orchid falls age to lilac white, leaving a mauve marginal band and soft texturing of veins. Beards white at tip, soft tangerine orange in throat. Standards slightly open, but touching; falls flared, waved, and ruffled. Two or three branches plus terminal, carrying about seven buds. #G77-l 35.00. |
