'Pink Sleigh' (Nate Rudolph, R. 1970). Seedling 67-40. TB, 30" (76 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards blue-pink with touch of lavender (Wilson 530/1); falls blue-pink (530/2) with lighter area at center; ruffled, laced; red beard. Seedling 65-50 X 'Pink Taffeta'. Rudolph 1970.

From AIS Bulletin #197 April 1970 Introducing PINK SLEIGH (Rudolph '70). $30.00. No. 67-40 (Sib X Pink Taffeta (Crystal Blaze X 61-42: (Pink Ioe X 59-55: (55-55 X Fleeta: (55-23 X May Hall). Midseason, 30". A delicate shade of blue pink with a touch of lavender. Standards Wilson 53011. Falls Wilson 53012 with a lighter area at the center. Standards beautifully ruffled and domed to clearly show nicely laced lavender pink styles. Beautifully ruffled wide semiflaring falls complemented by a red beard. This iris is another beautiful departure in pink color and form. Four branches with seven or more buds. Substance and plant habits are excellent. Fertile bothways. HC 1968. Lakelawn Gardens.
PINK SLEIGH is a blue-pink of excellent quality. The open standards do not detract from the flower form, and that color is enough to win over even the most critical. [Mullin, Ron (1971). Irises I Like, American Iris Society Bulletin 204(January 1972), 12.]
PINK SLEIGH (Rudolph) - Another that almost made the Dykes, it is a bit short some years and sometimes not enough buds. Nice form and lace, but the color's the thing!
