'Point Diamond' (George Galer, R. 1971). Seedling# 66-187-3. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards tawny yellow (RHS 19B) with 1/4" sunshine yellow edge, rosy suffusion along outer midrib to petal edge, heavy washing of violet on inside; falls greyed purple (184B) with 1/4" brown rim, center heavily overlaid blue-rose with electric blue flash below beard; underside red-purple; yellow beard tipped brown. 'Rusticana' X Tompkins seedling# 63-161: ('Sudden Spring' x 'Camelot Rose'). Galer 1972.
