From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1940: "True orange in color, a clear self without markings of any kind, and it has never exhibited a single discordant fleck. A seedling of Far West and Naranja. Medium in size, very flaring in form, with flowers widely spaced along jauntily branching stems; thirty inches tall. A clump of this in the originator's garden was a solid mass of golden orange and brought much favorable comment from visiting A.I.S. members."
