From Schreiner's Catalog for 1960: REAL DELIGHT (Waters 1960) M. 38". This glorified derivative of Frances Kent is distiguished by a greater intensification of coloring througout than is possessed by its illustrious parent. There is a pleasing combination of blush-pink concentrated in the central part of the standards while the falls have a delicious apricot or peach sherbert coloring intensifying toward the haft and reflecting, as it were, the tangerine beard. In the recess of the flower there is a cool whisper of chartreuse that no color film seems able to catch. A very subtle iridescent iris, full of exquisite nuances. Our color picture, at right, only begins to show the great charm of this lovely iris. HC'58. $25.00.
From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog for 1964: REAL DELIGHT (Waters '60) EM-38". A unique, appealing new color combination. Standards apricot-salmon, somewhat ruffled and folded back at edges. Falls light salmon-yellow becoming salmon at haft around a red-tangerine beard. White signal at end of beard. HM'60, JC'61. Frances Kent X Top Flight. Regularly $7.50; on $10 order $6.40; on $25 order $5.65.
