'Soft Answer' ( Jesse Wills, R. 1952) Sdlg. 36-51. TB, 37" (94 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards creamy-white, falls light yellow; gold beard. (( 'Lily Pons' x 'Happy Day') x 'Golden Eagle') X (( 'At Dawning' x 'Happy Days') x 'Shannopin'). Fairmount 1953. HM Honorable Mention 1953.

Soft Answer (Wills) - "seemed much more refined than 'Pinnacle' and had good branching. Standards are creamy white while Pinnacle's standards are blue white.
