'Southern Pacific' ( W. E. Taylor, R. 1941) TB. Midseason bloom. Color Class-B1L. 'Sierra Blue' x 'El Capitan'. Honorable Mention 1947.

From Western Iris Gardens catalog, 1948: SOUTHERN PACIFIC (Taylor, 1941). M. 45" Long season of bloom is typical with this gigantic flowered clear lavender-blue. Free blooming on tall stalks and of pleasing form the flower has a faint rosy sheen. HM 1947. $1.50
