From Wing Seed catalog, 1918: "COMTE DE ST. CLAIR— (Amoena) Semi-early. S. white; F. richly striped with deep violet on white ground and margined white. Two feet. 25c."

note: 1840, Lémon gave an other name: Julia Grisi; Giulia Grisi (1811-1869) was an Italian opera singer, but it could be about Carlotta Grisi (1819-1899), an italian ballet dancer, due to Giselle and Paquita (see 'Gisele', 'Pacquita').
