'Twenty Grand' (Luke Norton, deceased, by Alexander Maxwell, R. 1952) TB, 37" (94 cm), Midseason bloom. Canary yellow, orchid, and tan-gold. 'Rainbow Room' X Chantilly'.

From Marble Iris Gardens catalog, 1957: TWENTY GRAND (Norton 1953). M. 36 in. A cross of Chantilly and Rainbow Room. The standards are tight and a glistening yellow with heavily crinkled edges. The falls are orchid in the center, with a broad tan-gold border, heavily crinkled edges of the same color. A bright orange beard sets off this well-branched Iris that makes it a "must" in every garden. Each $5.00
