'Wood Opal' (Mrs. C. Whiting, R. 1952) Sdlg. Seedling# 4912. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason late bloom. Blend Egyptian buff and garnet-brown, no haft markings. Name transferred from registration of 1947, which was sdlg. seedling# 4610 (Sunset ( Serenade x Burmese Gold); never distributed and destroyed in 1950. 'Sunset Serenade' x 'Burmese Gold'); never distributed and destroyed in 1950. 'Aurora Dawn' x 'Campfire Glow'. Maple Valley 1952.
