Awaiting original catalog description |
From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2005: CIRCUS CLOWN - SOB, 13" (33 cm), Midseason. Circus Clown is one of those seedlings that names itself. The first thing that came to mind was the broad smile and vivid colors of a circus clown. Medium slate-violet standards blend to ecru margins. There are three bands of color on the falls starting with white around bright "clown hair" orange beards; moving to a red-grape eye and then to a wide slate-violet band. Dark red-grape veins streak from haft through the red-grape band. Vigorous growth provides loads of stalks with 2 and sometimes 3 buds. Sdlg. J252B: Buddy Boy X Lumalite $15.00. |
