From Aitken’s catalog, 2017: PIXIE PAINTING (MTB) (S. Markham '17) MTB, 22” (55.9 cm), EM. With no two flowers alike, this petite iris has bright white standards over white falls irregularly splashed with purple. The beards are white tipped in pale yellow. Bloomstalks are incredibly well branched, with a tendency for basal branches and branched branches, carrying at least 10 buds per stalk. A vigorous grower, it forms a tight clump of dark green foliage lightly washed with purple at the base. Diploid and fertile both ways.
