Barry Blyth, R. 2012). Seedling# No.R87-1, TB, 37" (94 cm). Very early bloom. Standards white, small lemon-yellow flush at base of midrib; falls lemon-yellow with spreading creamy yellow area below beards; beards golden-yellow; pronounced musky fragrance.

Hybridizer's Comment: This is the newest in a long fine of yellow amoenas that we have introduced over the last 40 or so years. We called it Certain Magic because of the lovely seedlings if has produced in all manner of colours including steps towards a pink amoena. The standards are white with just a flush of lemon at the midribs. Falls are lemon yellow with a spreading muted creamy yellow area below the golden yellow beards. Flowers are full and ruffled with light lace and are well branched. Strong plants. |
