References:

From Wing Seed catalog, 1919: FAIRY — (Plic.) One of the most beautiful and graceful. Divisions all very broad, standards incurving and falls recurving, producing a globular form. S. white with midrib of soft green, delicately veined soft blue at the base; F. creamy-white delicately veined blue at base; style arms very conspicuous, bright clear blue. Two feet. This is one of the indispensables. 25¢
From H. P. Simpson catalog, 1922: FAIRY (Kennicott, 1905). White, delicately bordered and suffused pale blue. A very pretty bloom. Stems 36 inches tall and slightly bending, which is its only fault; not new and not as well known as it deserves to be. 25¢.
