ORIGINAL CATALOG DESCRIPTION HAWAIIAN BREEZE (Hall, 1961) Each $20.00. A delicately colored flower that is neither pink nor mauve, but is from pink breeding and could be called a pink blend. It is so different from others of this series, so enchanting in its pastel shadings and so excitingly unique with its decidedly pink beard! Large, well formed and nicely branched. 3 feet. No. 56-118. Cooley's Iris, 1961.
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: HAWAIIAN BREEZE (D. Hall '61) M. 36 in. From Sdlgs. A rich mauve pink or medium pink with subtle undertone of lavender. A lovely flower with broad petals and lovely ruffled form. We saw some fine seedlings from this among the Hall selections at Cooleys. 10.00.
