From Quality Gardens 1929 catalog: This flower will be introduced by M. Cayeux this year and shown at the Paris Flower show next June. It is a very tall, well branched grower and a fine large flower of good form. Standards plain sulphur yellow. falls golden yellow, with a beautiful golden yellow beard. Height 44 inches, This is a magnificent, very large, very tall yellow iris of the finest form and greatest substance. |
