From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: HENRI RIVIERE (On-ree Reev-yair') (Millet 1927) V.L. 42". Very large flowers on a plant of the greatest vigor, with sturdy, rigid, many branched stems. S. purest lemon yellow, shading to canary yellow at the base; F. lilac mauve with yellowish reflex, blending to canary yellow at the throat and edged canary yellow. An exquisite combination of color. M. Millet has told us that this is his finest introduction since Germaine Perthuis in 1924. (Stock limited). $15.00. |
