From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: HORNED ROYALTY (Austin '58) EM-40". A striking bitone as my Ektachrome shows. Standards amethyst-pink. Falls deep royal-purple, with 1/2" to 3/4" horn projecting from end of heavy yellow beard. Horns sometimes spooned. Pollen plentiful. May yield a Horned Twice-Bloomer, as several plants re-bloomed last Nov. (JS-M-176B x 638) X Fantasy). Reg. $3.00; on $15 order 2 for $2.25; on $25 order 3 for $1.95.
