From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: SPOONED SAMPLER (Austin '62) ML-36". Nicely spooned, very intriguing. Standards bright yellow, arched; falls narrow, almost horizontal, somewhat folded, pale yellow, flushed light red. Each yellow beard usually ends in a light red horn with a spoon 1/4"to 1" wide, commonly standing erect in a very provocative manner. Pollen plentiful. (Plumed Delight X Horned Rosyred).
