From Bonnewitz catalog 1920: INGEBORG. An extremely large bloom, of purer white than in the case of Halfdan; splendid. 25 cts.; $1.50 a doz.
From Meadow Mountain Bulb Farm catalog 1931: INGEBORG. A massive pure white; sweet scented. 18 ins. 10 for $1.25, 100 for $8.00.
An early reference corroborating 'Ingeborg' identity is a lantern slide from Wister presentation archived at Swarthmore.See slide collection Note Haft marks in that lantern slide are blue while other slides the haft marks are yellow. This raises the question whether under different conditions the yellow marks can change to blue the way Yellow beards have been known to change to blue in a given year.
