'Brighteyes' (Gerald Darby, R. 1957). IB, height 16" (41 cm), Early bloom. Color Class-YB4, Lemon-yellow self with darkish blue thumbprint on falls, greenish yellow at haft, no reticulations. Welch seedling H-503 x Missouri Night'.

Registered IB. See IB 'Brighteyes'.

Listed SDB, in Melrose Catalog. 'Brighteyes' listed as one word in 1959 Check List, however is listed as 'Bright Eyes' in article by Gerald Darby - Median Year Book, 1958 and in Melrose Cat. Orpington 1958.

From Melrose catalog, 1964: BRIGHT EYES (Darby) English in origin and an excellent soft yellow with a brownish spot. Fine tailored form. Reblooms in fall hereabouts. $1.00
From Adamgrove catalog, 1997: BRIGHTEYES (Darby, 58) Mid- to light yellow with a diffuse spot on each fall. A little rebloom. Registered at 16", but for all purposes it's an SDB. This one is important for reblooming dwarfs. England. $4.00
