From AIS Bulletin #233 Spring 1979 Introducing REDWOOD SUPREME (Niswonger '79). Sp 6-76: (intensity x Woodwind) X unknown (probably a self). Spuria, 40" (102 em), Mid. This dark beauty has chocolate brown stds. and orange falls, edged with the same dark brown. In addition to its beauty, it's vigorous and can take the very changeable weather we have in the Midwest - where plants are hit with a late freeze when they start to grow. It has already produced some fine seedlings. You will find this new spuria a refreshing addition to your spuria border. $20.00. Cape Iris.

This dark beauty has chocolate brown stds. and orange falls edged with the same dark brown. In addition to it's beauty, it is vigorous and can take the changeable weather we have in the west. It has produced some quite variable in color seedlings and I know you will be pleased to have it as a part of your spuria bed. $12.50
