From Quality Gardens catalog 1925: BALDUR (Mor. 1922) One of the finest American Irises. Magnificent flowers borne on low and widely branched stalks that reach a height of 4 ft. S. light lilac; F. very deep velvety dark maroon purple. Miss Sturtevant rated this last year at 91. We think that it is as good as Dominion in some ways and in some ways better. $10.00.
