'Pirate Captain' (Donald Spoon, R. 2017). Seedling# 2006-150-PBHN/ORGB. TB, 32" (81 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards smooth velvety violet (RHS 86A), closed, domed; style arms violet, edged greyed yellow (N161A); falls velvety violet, hidden haft marks at bases with violet (86B) veins and greyed yellow (N161A) between, semiflared; beards wide, showy solid orange-red (33A) ending in short lavender blue (86D) fuzzy horn; ruffled; fluted; pleasant sweet fragrance.
