'Violet Scent' (Donald Spoon, R. 2011) Seedling# 2008-136VBLRE. TB, 35 (89 cm), Late midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards medium violet-blue (RHS 93 B/C), darkest at edges, lightly laced; style arms same, darker (93 D/C) crests and midribs, crests lightly laced, lighter bases and edges; falls medium violet-blue (93 B/C/D) grades from lighter medium violet-blue around white zonal area, color darkest (93A) at edges; beards white (NN155C) base, hairs tipped yellow orange (23A) in throat, golden yellow in middle, white at end; ruffled; sweet violet fragrance.
