2000, Spoon

'Sheba's Flame' (Donald Spoon, R. 2000). Seedling 93-27A. BB, 23" (58 cm), Midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards roasted tomato red; style arms tomato red edged yellow; falls lighter roasted tomato red, yellow at base and shading outward; beards yellow; ruffled; slight spicy fragrance. 'Homecomming Queen' X 'Sheba's Queen'. Winterberry 2000.

From AIS Bulletin #316 January 2000 Introducing Sheba's Flame BB, 23" (58 cm), M and RE (October in zone 6). Flared, lightly ruffled with roasted tomato colored falls, darker standards, and style arms with yellow edges giving inside interest. A yellow glow extends in the falls out from the rich yellow beards. Fertile. (Homecoming Queen X Sheba's Queen). $25.00. Winterberry Gardens.
