Donald Spoon, R. 2002) JI (3 Falls), 36" (91 cm), Midseason late bloom. Orchid pink, Falls shading darker around yellow signal; Standards erect, Falls arched and wide. Parentage unknown. Winterberry 2002.

From AIS Bulletin #325 April 2002: ORCHID FOUNTAIN. An Ensata iris like the species wild type with three wide, arching falls and three erect standards. Very vigorous with easy to maintain clumps. Excellent for naturalizing by water. 36" (91 cm) and ML. Striking orchid pink color and yellow signal surrounded by darker orchid pink. Parentage unknown from mixed gathered seedpods. $30 plus $5 for separate fall shipping costs. Winterberry Gardens. |
