| Description from the 1958 Avonbank Iris Gardens brochure: KERRY LEA - (Zurbrigg) A sister seedling to Kerry Piper, that is about two inches taller, a little larger, and outstanding in the heaviness of its substance, the heaviest I have seen in a dwarf iris. The standards are tightly overlapped, and the falls flare stiffly, so that it should prove an outstanding parent, for it is fertile. A shade lighter in colour than Kerry Piper. Net $2.50. |
