Original introductory description from the 1991 Adamgrove Irises, Peonies and Daylilies Catalog: U-TURN (Carl Boswell, 1991) Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris What do you do when you stroll in the garden, and just as you pass the irises, a bright gleam catches your eyes? U-TURN, and you see flowers of light lavender blue. The falls have rich dark spots of maroon-violet, turning brown toward the hafts, and slightly bordered with violet. A favorite of visitors to the Boswell garden. Also caught the eyes of attendees at Region 18's 1990 spring tours. 21-80S: [(Puppet Baby x Eyelash) X Plum-Plum] |
