'April Showers' (Tom Craig, R. 1954). TB, 45" (114 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class Y4, Bicolor (near fancy plicata), light yellow and white, beard yellow. 'Mariposa Mia' X (('Tiffany' x 'Los Angeles') x 'Belle Brunette') x 'Joseph's Mantle')). Craig 1954.

From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: APRIL SHOWERS (Craig '54) M, 38". A fancy plicata. Flowers large, frequently simply gigantic. Standards light yellow; falls silvery sunlight yellow, brushing of white & lilac in center. Shows double dose of re-blooming blood--Tiffany & Joseph's Mantle. Pollen parent of 2 of my '61 Autumn introductions. Fall Sunshine & Gold of Autumn. Regularly $1.50; on $10 order 95c; on $25 order 75c; 3 for $1.90; 10 for $5.70.
