'In The Pink' (Les Peterson, R. 1974). Seedling# LP 71-42. TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Rose-pink (HCC 427/1) self; deeper pink beard. 'Paris Gown' X seedling# LP 69-18: ('May Orchid' x (('La Negra Flor' x 'Orange Parade') x 'Tantallon')). Peterson 1975.

From AIS Bulletin #216 January 1975 Introducing IN THE PINK. TB, 34", ML. Paris Gown X (May Orchid x (La Negra Flor x Orange Parade) x Tantallon). A self in the rose-pink class (RHS 427/1) with deeper pink beard-and "in the pink" categorically as to every good quality needed to make up a satisfying iris. Each stalk a bouquet of rose-pink loveliness when in bloom. EC and HC '74. $25.00. Les Peterson.
