"Here's is my link with official catalog description from 1975: http://brightonparkiris.com/looptheloop.html"The Loop the Loop in my photos are from my garden and it came directly from Schreiner's. The official catalog description is little baffling as it states gold beards in the center and doesn't quite match the official description. I'm certain that what I have is correct. The beard does have some purple, but only at the end of the beard. It is gold in the throat and midway, as according to the catalog description. Another thing of note is that purple border of the falls is very thin at the bottom compared to the rest of the falls. You can notice this on my photo and the Schreiner one on the Wiki."Having said that, the last two stem shots are not Loop the Loop. I don't know how those two photos got in there (I beleive its Quiet Times from the location of the garden, will need to check). Another thing on the to-do list. Personally speaking, a lot of the 1970s official descriptions for Schreiner's irises are riddled with errors, particularly the median irises. The Schreiner's were never very detailed in their official AIS descriptions. Luckily I have a complete set of Schreiner catalogs to verify (or deny) the authenticity of most of their irises."
